October is breast cancer awareness month, and at Durocast we believe in supporting worthy causes.
Since breast cancer is the second most common kind of cancer in women, we also know that most people know someone who has been affected by this disease. The good news is that most women can survive breast cancer if it’s found and treated early. The earlier, the better! We urge all our clients to get tested and be aware of the signs and symptoms associated with it.
The major international symbol of Breast Cancer Awareness Month is the colour pink – so show your support by wearing pink this October. Do you want to show support but pink isn’t exactly your colour? Simply wear a pink ribbon instead. You can also show your support by using pink in a variety of ways besides clothing – posters, on your website etc.
So don’t let the reluctance to wear pink clothing stand in your way of showing support!
