Some Changes and Improvements at Durocast
| Due to safety concerns and the quantity of bags that Durocast pack on to one pallet the company is considering
reducing the bag weights from the current 25kg to 20kg. This will increase the amount to 50 x 20kg bags
per pallet maintaining a weight of 1000kg.
| We have also installed an automatic bagging and stitching machine. This will eventually replace the need for
industrial staples.
| Durocast have also installed a dust free totally enclosed tumbler mixer for production of ultra-fine material such as
specialized mortars and powders.
| Durocast are currently installing Extraction fans which will help with air flow through the factory
This will create air circulation that will operate in conjunction with the dust collector.
