Alkacrete is a concrete that was developed to be resistant to Alkalis and Sulphates. Primary applications would be Dissolving Tanks, White Liquor and Caustic Tanks.
The material is safe to use and does not emit hazardous fumes during mixing and placement. We would recommend it as a monolithic lining in areas exposed to dilute sodium or potassium Hydroxides or Sulphates.
